Mama of two, below average surfer, greethumb, and very much a people loving introvert!

Alesi began during a very dark postpartum. Mental health has always been a big journey for me, but by golly pregnancies and postpartum turned it up tenfold. Creativity rose as a way to play and unburden. Making with my hands got me back into my body. Loved ones began wanting to buy my peices, and things naturally grew from there!

Now, Alesi has grown from a solo thing, to being a team of three! We create out of my home based-studio together. Sometimes my 1 & 4 year old kiddos float on in to 'help' too. The vibes are so very high.

To be working in a joy-giving job that can ebb & flow with life is such a blessing to our family.

Fun fact, Alesi is my name in Fijian! My in-laws ran a non-profit organisation in Fiji for almost 15 years. I'm a qualified international development practitioner, and I loved lending my skills to assist with their programs. My main passion project within the organisation was working with women to create independent income streams through small business. Financial independence assisted women to escape domestic violence, supporting themselves and their kids into safety. In Fiji I was called Alesi...

And so, Alesi Jewellery was born.
